CMDCM Jeremiah J. Holler is a native of Sonoita, Arizona. He entered the Navy in 1998. Following the completion of Recruit Training Command he attended Technical Core and Fire Controlman “A” School in Great Lakes, IL before reporting to AN/SPY-1A “C” School at the Aegis Training and Readiness Center in Dahlgren, VA.
His first sea tour began in May of 2000 where he checked onboard the USS LAKE CHAMPLAIN (CG 57) homeported in San Diego, CA. During his first sea tour, he advanced to Second Class Petty Officer. Following sea duty, he was assigned to shore duty at Southwest Regional Maintenance Center in June 2003 where he advanced to First Class Petty Officer. In April 2007, he reported onboard the USS Preble (DDG 88), homeported in San Diego, and was selected for Chief Petty Officer in 2009 and was then re-assigned to the USS Howard (DDG 83) where he served as the CF Division Leading Chief Petty Officer until April 2012. In August 2012, he reported to the Commander, U.S. FIFTH Fleet in Manama, Bahrain as the Maritime Operations Center Leading Chief Petty Officer where he was selected for Senior Chief Petty Officer. After staff duty, he reported to the USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55), homeported in Norfolk, VA, where he served as the Combat Systems Maintenance Manager and was advanced to Master Chief Petty Officer. In 2016 he reported to Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center AMW Division in Little Creek, Virginia as the Senior Enlisted Leader and was selected for the Command Master Chief Program.
Since becoming a Command Master Chief, he has served with Strike Fighter Squadron TWO FIVE where he deployed onboard the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), Carrier Air Wing ELEVEN (CVW 11) where he deployed onboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) in 2020, and Commander, Carrier Strike Group ELEVEN where he deployed onboard the USS NIMITZ (CVN 68) in 2022.
Command Master Chief Holler reported to Commander, U.S. THIRD FLEET in January of 2025, where he currently serves.
Master Chief Holler is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 181, the Command Master Chief and Chief of the Boat Course Class 179, and KEYSTONE Class 22-2. His personal and unit awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), Navy Commendation Medal (six awards), the Navy Achievement Medal (seven awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
